Why Malorie’s Place Exists

March 7th is 2 year Anniversary

There are moments in life that change everything. Moments when a phone call comes in the middle of the night… when a doctor says words you never expected to hear… when grief, addiction, depression, or loss suddenly walks into your life and refuses to leave.

For many people in our community, those moments come with something else too — silence and loneliness.

People often don’t know where to go.

They don’t know who will listen.

They don’t know if anyone will understand.

That is why Malorie’s Place exists. ❤️

Malorie’s Place was born from deep love and deep loss. It was created out of a mother’s heart that refused to let pain be the end of the story. Instead, that pain became purpose — a purpose to build a place where people could walk through the door and feel something they may not have felt in a long time:

Hope.

Understanding.

Belonging.

At Malorie’s Place, we believe no one should have to fight their battles alone.

When someone walks through our doors, they are not judged. They are not rushed. They are not told to “just get over it.” Instead, they are met with open arms, listening hearts, and people who truly care.

Here, you will find:

• A grieving parent who understands your tears

• Someone battling anxiety who knows what the darkness feels like

• A child learning how to handle big emotions

• A person in recovery finding strength again

• Volunteers who simply want to love their community

Every peer group, every conversation, every hug in the hallway reminds us why we are here.

We are here for the parent who feels overwhelmed.

We are here for the teenager who feels invisible.

We are here for the grandparent raising grandchildren.

We are here for the person who feels like they’ve lost everything.

At Malorie’s Place, you matter.

Through programs like Grief & Divorce Support, Depression/Anxiety/Suicidal Ideations groups, Junior Warriors for children, Freedom Tribe for teens, Art Therapy, and our Blessing Room, and Blessing Shed, we are working every day to create a community where people feel safe, supported, and loved.

But more than programs, Malorie’s Place is about people.

It’s about neighbors helping neighbors.

It’s about turning pain into purpose.

It’s about reminding every person who walks through our doors that their story is not over.

We are here to love.

We are here to serve.

We are here to walk beside our community through the hardest moments of life.

And as long as someone in our community needs hope, healing, or simply someone to listen…

Malorie’s Place will be here.
