At the end of a quiet Street, at 446 S Main Ave, there is a place that doesn’t look extraordinary from the outside. But when you walk through the doors, something changes. The noise of the world softens. The weight you’ve been carrying doesn’t feel quite as heavy. And for the first time in a long time, you feel like you can breathe.
That place is Malorie’s Place. 💙
Malorie’s Place was born from pain, love, and a mother’s promise. When grief enters a family through addiction, loss, depression, or trauma, it can feel isolating—like no one could possibly understand. But Malorie’s Place was created so that no one in our community would have to face those battles alone.
Every day, people walk through these doors carrying invisible burdens. A mother grieving a child. A teenager struggling with anxiety. A grandparent raising grandchildren. A child who just needs someone to listen.
And what they find here is something powerful: community.
In one room, people sit together in Grief & Divorce groups, sharing stories through tears and quiet understanding. In another, individuals battling Depression, Anxiety, and Suicidal Thoughts find a circle of people who truly get it. No judgment. Just compassion and hope.
Down the hall, laughter and learning fill the room where Junior Warriors gather. Children who have faced more than most adults are learning how to breathe through stress, express their feelings, and believe in themselves again. They are discovering something many of them have never felt before—they matter.
For teenagers, Freedom Tribe becomes a safe place to talk about the pressures they face and to learn that their future is bigger than their struggles.
And sometimes healing doesn’t happen through words alone. In Art Therapy, people paint their pain, shape their hope, and create beauty out of broken places.
Then there’s the Blessing Room and Blessing Shed—a place where dignity lives. Families can come in, take what they need, and feel welcomed instead of ashamed. Because at Malorie’s Place, helping someone isn’t charity… It’s love in action.
But the real magic of Malorie’s Place isn’t the programs or the building.
It’s the people.
The volunteers who show up with open hearts.
The peer leaders who share their own journeys.
The children who learn they are stronger than their circumstances.
The community that wraps its arms around those who feel forgotten.
Malorie’s Place is more than a center.
It is a light in the middle of someone’s darkest moment.
It is where broken hearts begin to heal.
Where stories are shared.
Where purpose is rediscovered.
Where hope is rebuilt, one life at a time.
Because here’s the truth Malorie’s Place stands on:
We were never meant to fight life’s hardest battles alone.
And at Malorie’s Place, you never have to. 💙
