Hi Welcome to Malorie’s Place!! Malorie’s StoryIm Malorie Deal I was born July 20, 1987 I’am a daughter, a baby sister to three brothers, a mother to Beautiful Daughter, and 2 Amazing sons. I loved them so much I would do anything for them. I not only gave them life once but I gave them life a 2nd time. I Let my mom and dad have Aspen and Madix for them not to go into DSS Custody and I chose my parents for them.I was an addict for 20 years when I was 16 I began my addiction journey. I have said I would not wish this on my worst enemy. The daily torment of these demons is real.I would steal, lie and con to get my drugs. I could not live without them. Then I got pregnant and had Gregson. I was living with his dads family and the abuse I put up with to be with my son. You see I took drugs the night before I had my last son I tested positive at the hospital. So his grandparents got kinship custody of Gregson and the abuse, the beating were very hard and unbearable at times I thought I was dying. You see if I turned his dad in or grandparents I would never see my son again so I stayed and endured the beatings, not eating, peeing in cups while being locked in a room just to be with my son. When gregson was 3 I saw my chance I turned myself into Dss and his dad and grandfather. So DSS took him and placed him with my brother and sister in law. I was getting clean and for 3 years I loved the Malorie I became and loved and had known and missed. I had made it, got my own place, got a job, my own car and I got Gregson back August 18th a few days before he turned 5 and started school. Boy was I so proud of what I had accomplished. Well those demons never gave up on me On March 3rd 2023 I took some drugs again and I overdosed.
Here is my Mom’s Story
Hi I’m Leslie Hulbert, Mother of Malorie and grandmother of Malorie's children. We have had custody of 2 of them for 10 years now.On March 3rd at 5:30 Am, I got the call I thought I was exempt from. I had begged God to deliver her from the addiction. Those sleepless, and praying nights over Malorie protection, and deliverance. The call came and the hospital said you need to come, your daughter is here.So our beautiful Mal, was brain dead from an overdose. Saturday at 5:23 they pronounced her dead. Since then we have Custody of her youngest too. The addiction has affected the whole family from bothers, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. Drug addiction any addiction needs a voice and a place where people can come to be safe and find hope. Malories Place was born March 7, 2024. A place of refreshing, a place to retreat to, so families & individuals can come and be refueled and recharged to go back out and fight the fight again against: Addiction, Grief, Stress, Depression, Divorce, Sexual Abuse, Childhood Trama, & Domstic Violence in their lives. I had found out recently at Maloire’s Celebration of Life that many had stated Malorie was the reason they are clean now and she did not give up on them or had saved their lives when they overdosed. So at Malorie's place we will carry on that attitude!!! And love, & serve others!!! Welcome to Malories place
